Dr. Esme van Dyk is an accomplished mediator, arbitrator and negotiator. She has Dip IR (IIR) Adv. Lab Law (UNISA) MBA PhD Management (COU).
Solid background in Management and Leadership where I was employed in senior positions in HR.
Solid background in Labour Law, Industrial Relations, Employee Relations
Solid background in Dispute Resolution including Divorce Mediation, Labour Mediation, Arbitration, Facilitation as well as Conflict Resolution.
Has been accepted on the panel of The Africa Institute for Dispute Settlement (University of Stellenbosch) as mediator and arbitrator. A member of SAAM (SA Association of mediators). Consulted with numerous clients on labour law matters as well as Management and Leadership issues.
Spent much time in the Research Field where managed projects, did high level interviews with strong emphasis in analysis and report writing.
In terms of Training and Development, I assisted in the development of a RPL Tool, presented numerous training courses, and lectured at various levels as well as Academic Institutions including UP, MANCOSA, REGENT, MILPARK, and REGENESYS as a PT lecturer. I lectured much through UP Centre for Continued Education for Public Service in various courses including all aspects of Employee Relations and Management. Previously I was a National HR Manager in the retail sector. I have extensive (38 +years) Human Resource experience.
I supervise and examine the dissertations for MBA students for all these Institutions.
The Assessor and Moderator courses were completed by me. I am a registered assessor and moderator for P SETA.
