Disability awareness and sensitivity training for Managers

Training and Development

We understand the importance of creating a diverse and inclusive workplace culture. We believe that everyone deserves equal opportunities to succeed and that we can all learn from each other’s unique perspectives and experiences.

In South Africa persons with disabilities are categorized under the following 5 impairment groups: Physical; Sensory; Intellectual; Psychosocial and Neurological impairments.

Our training program is designed to enhance your management team’s understanding of disability issues and equip them with practical skills and strategies to interact respectfully and sensitively with people with disabilities. In addition, the training will enable your team to fully understand the value of being culturally aware and give them specific tools with which to increase their cultural awareness and sensitivity. It will also give them a glimpse into the uniquely diverse and exciting South African cultural landscape.

Our experienced trainers will take them on a journey of empathy, learning, and growth, helping them to develop a deeper appreciation of the challenges faced by people with disabilities and how you can be a positive influence in their lives as well as the value of cultural awareness and sensitivity.

The training is available in both in-person and virtual formats, ensuring maximum flexibility and accessibility. Join us on this journey of discovery and make a meaningful contribution to building a more inclusive and diverse workplace culture.

Although the world is full of suffering, it is full also of the overcoming of it – Helen Keller
